3 years ago Microsoft and the Microsoft-controlled press tried to convince us all that "Google is [was] doomed" and chatbots would take over.
Well...
Like we predicted back then, that just didn't happen. It'll never happen.
Worse yet, after all this obsession with chatbots (falsely marketed as possessing intelligence, understanding, knowledge) Bing was left weaker than before. "Bing Chat" failed (got mothballed), several more things got rebranded, and version inflation failed to convince us that things would improve.
Energy suppliers got richer, NVIDIA rigged the market (a form of accounting fraud), and people still use search. People are reportedly less interested than in recent years... in this thing called "AI" (slop). Many deliberately steer away from it.
The so-called 'AI industry' is a boy that cries wolf. After three years we've all heard enough. █
