Stallman's contributions have left a lasting legacy, with the GNU/Linux system now powering tens of millions of computers worldwide. His remarkable achievements have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the ACM Grace Hopper Award, the ACM Software and Systems Award, a MacArthur Foundation fellowship, and his induction into the Internet Hall of Fame."
