Covering corruption at the EPO is important because it is a monopoly, there is virtually no oversight, and it is the second-largest body in Europe, involving more member states than the EU. European media has done a terrible job reporting on EPO affairs because Benoît Battistelli extorted and bribed several large publishers. As did António Campinos and his cokeheads. They control the narrative while committing crimes.
We've heard, however, that some publisher/s might soon be catching up. At times of unprecedented attacks on European media we must recognise the importance of real, investigative journalism. Without it, we'll become another Russian Federation. █
