Founder of GNU/Linux (RMS) Speaks in US University (College) This Week
Last month: Richard Stallman's First Talk in a U.S. College Since 2018
A few days from now RMS will give a public talk in a very large room at Georgia Tech. The event is organised with the support of administrators and led by the LibreTech Collective.
As a kind reminder or a gentle push, if you know someone nearby who may benefit from this talk or is already interested in this talk, then send them this link: https://ltc.gtorg.gatech.edu/2026/01/04/rms

The talk is 4 days from now and the poster above has been updated (changed a lot) since we last saw it.
"If the wrong words are used," I noted, "his haters will take advantage, call him "hypocrite" etc."
"You're 100% right!" told me an organiser. "We took extreme lengths to make everything mentioned on the original poster was approved by RMS. He mainly wants some changes to the color/font, and to shorten the text by a lot in exchange for a URL to learn more. This one is for our advertising campaign on campus, so it needs to be as eye-catching as possible. As of now, we think that link for more info should be: https://ltc.gtorg.gatech.edu/2026/01/04/rms"
Please pass this on to people who don't live far. The auditorium has very high capacity and this is his "college comeback" talk in the United States. █
