They call it privacy, security, confidentiality etc. But that's false marketing (just like "confidential" computing). The intention is to mislead people. They call an attack on security... "Security". As in, "national security" for the hegemon and the oligarchs who control the hegemony.
This new report would be interesting indeed if its main message wasn't already said by us for at least 12 years [1, 2].
If you trust Microsoft with security, perhaps you'll also trust Cheeto's Board of Putin for security. War is Peace, invasion is "Defence". Kidnapping political opponents, insurrection, bombing countries etc. are all about peace. And Microsoft is an "encryption company". █
