Still in business, very nice
Walking down an alley I haven't visited in a while, I turn a corner and.. hey, it's still here. Wow. Has it been 5 years? Jeez...
Glad to see it's still here. Same bar, same decor, some new taps of course. What makes one suddenly wonder about Gemini sites years later after life throws a wrench that fully refocuses your attention? Who knows. The brain is weird.
Anyway, it's brisk out, so that calls for a nice stout or porter please. ~bartender's choice.

A reference to CardCaptor Sakura in Witch Watch
I read Witch Watch recently, while reading chapter 133, I notice it has a familiar pattern to another anime I've watch.
Witch Watch is the story about Nico and her friends. Nico is a witch that has very powerful magic ability but her has been targeted for use to bring the powerful Morlock (bad witch) back to life. The witches don't want this to happen, so they sent Nico to lived with childhood friend Morihito (ogre), after that, there were Werewolf, Vampire and Tengu move into Morihito's home to protect Nico too. The story cycle between friend activities and fighting with Morlocks.

For a lingua franca
Detritus writes with an interesting take on the universality and overuse of English language on the internet and in parts of the world where it's not the primary language. The paradox aside, that the piece itself is written in English, I think there are some fundamentally valid intuitions in it, as well as some exaggeration.
