Firefox 'Market Share' Down to All-Time Low in 2026, Adding to It User-Hostile 'Features' Only Worsens Things

That Mozilla has failed Firefox users is hardly a controversial statement or assertion anymore. Among Firefox users there's a sense of disappointment which grows each time a new release comes out, removing features that many people liked and instead adding antifeatures like slop and surveillance.
The way things are going, no longer must US government sites be compatible with Firefox or Gecko-based browsers (or Servo for that matter). That increases the strain on Free software users who try to do things online only with Free software.
What is the goal of Mozilla at this point? Grifting and burning the planet with pyramid schemes like fake-coins and slop? Mozilla is now working for GAFAM and outsourcing what's left of Firefox. █
