IBM Tries to Get Rid of Workers Without Paying Them (and It Appears to be Working)

Lots of people announce their departures from IBM today. To give just a few random examples from recent hours, we'll limit to a handful; by extrapolation, knowing words vary, loads of people don't use Microsoft's social control media (euphemised as "professional network" - way to waste a person's time and reduce productivity) or keep the news to themselves and to real friends, not online 'friends'... maybe IBM has like 100 such departures each weekday.
