State of the Slop and The Register MS Runs Ads as 'Articles'

Yesterday we could not find much slop about "Linux", except one example by George Whittaker at Linux Journal:

Almost everything about it is slop - same as the slopfarm Linuxiac, which has some slop about Torvalds 'dying' (they already talk about his death; he's more than a decade away from retirement age). From another slopfarm:

All the above are promoted by Google News, but thankfully there's nothing more we're stumbled upon.

Well, some hours ago The Register MS published this promotional piece (ad):

At least this one isn't about "hey hi" and does not promote Microsoft products, for a change. █
