IBM Bluewashing: Feels Like IBM is Scuttling Neudesic (and Some of Red Hat)
Red Hat:

Neudesic:

IBM 'proper':

In recent hours we've been seeing many people who publicly announce leaving IBM (the above is a crosscut, we could find loads more).
Many are from Neudesic (see above; we gave additional examples of this yesterday).
And from Red Hat we heard the same is going on. Many colleagues leave. Red Hat insiders hate IBM and worry about what will happen to Red Hat. A lot of talent has left the building already. For good.
To always work hard and always be a "top performer" won't be enough. As recently as a few hours ago somebody explained PIPs: "I was wondering that myself…my boss claims some people you’d never think were on a pip were but everyone in my dept who has been put on one was exited (we had some on coaching plans not be, one has been here over a year since it ended)..."
We keep hearing that PIPs target "expensive" staff, not "lazy" staff. We also hear that PIPs are a death knell; you're almost always made to fail or just 'get the message' and leave on your own (without severance).
And "again it’s being used as a tool to get rid of folks for one reason or another and has nothing to do with their actual performance," said the latest comment. "Maybe they were high salary for their band, maybe they were not “Yes” people. But fact is a lot of surprising high performing and producing folks were magically deemed people non gratas. Years from now people will look back at this and finally call out the leaders for what they are and did. Remember their names!"
We recently saw some Red Hat staff joining a Microsoft proxy. █
