Salary Erosion Procedure (SAP) as the Primary Reason for EPO Strikes
After informing the "Mafia" of the upcoming strike the strike did in fact happen and we're hearing it was a success.
There was a General Assembly (GA) on Thursday (29 January 2026), i.e. a day before the strike.
The GA was about "Further Salary Erosion to come" and "Call for Industrial Actions" (not just this first strike)
"The Staff Committee Munich invites all staff to a General Assembly on Thursday 29 January," it said, sharing slides that explain the situation.
They focus on financials, as the corruption aspects are un-sayable or unspeakable, except in private.
SUEPO's organisation of a strike was a success.
"The trade union SUEPO has notified the President of the industrial action plan to fight the erosion of our salaries with work-to-rule actions, demonstrations and a first day of strike on Friday 30 January."
"To show your discontent participate in the SUEPO actions and register for strike," it said. █
