Oligarchs' 'Speech Zones' Are Not the "Public Square"

MElon and Ellison (or MElison) do not value democracy, they value and protect autocracy - the autocrats who stands to have a relationship with them and give them endless favours (commercial graft, censorship etc.).
So why would any sane person who pays attention to what's going on suggest that Twitter and TikTok (MElison) - together with Kapo-berg - uphold free speech?
"Social media is the new public square", says this article from Kentucky Lantern, echoing the propaganda or endorsing what Jack Dorsey said ("public square", as in Twitter the company policing/deciding what people can or cannot say, even when the latter is clearly lawful).
Or an associate put it, "since when is the subset of topics allowed by a private company to be considered Freedom of Speech??
"Experts warn raising social media age limit might not improve youth safety", says NL Times (this past weekend). Right... just like MElison (or Pooh-Tin/Xi outside the US) decide what people can or cannot say. Or who is allowed to go "viral", who gets shadowbanned etc.
The apologists of social control media, including press that got "addicted" to such fake "media", are helping dictators and oligarchs grab the public attention away from the real press (what's left of it). █
