Biggest Kid, Wet Boots, Heckin off to Spain
Doing a beginners swim class as part of prep for Sprint Triathlon, starting this Friday. (I can swim just ... very poorly and inefficiently.)
Got an email from YMCA regarding swim class starting. I think it was just a generic template email being sent to _everyone_ who is signed up for a swim class because it said "We're looking forward to meeting you and your child", and some basic guidelines for wrangling your child."
I do not have a child... Nor am I a child.
Went back to YMCA website to double check, yes the class says 'Teen and Adult' lol. Just needed to sanity check I'm not going to be the biggest kid in the class.
And hey look there are now TWO people enrolled in the class, so at least it won't just be me flailing around by myself with the swim teacher staring at me.

Esperanto Music History — Max Roy Carrouges
Today’s post is another request for help, as once again I’m taking a look at an Esperanto record for which I could find very little useful information about its creation or the people behind it: Esperanto kaj Libereco by Max Roy Carrouges, released on the French label Arion in 1982.
The record exists in at least two pressings (one made in France and the other in Italy), but they appear to be otherwise identical: the songs are in Esperanto and the cover and liner notes are in French in both cases. Aside from the singer Max Roy Carrouges, the other credits given on the record are the composer Tany Turens and producer Emilhenco (who are in fact the same person), the conductor Jean-Claude Passaga, photographer Jean-Pierre Vignal, lyrics checked by Roger Bernard and series curated by Ariane Ségal, the owner of the record label.

AI (Slop) so far
tl; dr: AI (Slop) is a no-go for use in my mud or in the sort of writing where it would be most helpful. It’s so-so for code, but pretty good at mediocre code that dosn’t matter when it’s done in an automated fashion. With more hand holding, it can be pretty good with code, with slightly better trade-offs than taking the time to do it right without AI (Slop).

git repos on thatit.be
I’ve been toiling with how the pieces should fit together for a while. It’s somewhat come together only recently.

added a pipeline
If this shows up online, then I guess it all works.
I have hooks that run when I push to my public git repos that creates index pages and does other stuff. I’ve just linked the same hooks to my notes project and added a Discount Pipeline to it. So now my gemini stuff will be updated whenever I push my notes.

* Gemini (Primer) links can be opened using Gemini software. It's like the World Wide Web but a lot lighter.
