So IBM's CEO is trying to use the grand hoax (or false, phony narrative of "AI") to pretend layoffs are inevitable and are actually a sign of health, not a weakness. Meanwhile someone points out: "Who said no layoffs? Then are all low performers getting fired through PIP?" (IBM misuses the law to not pay severance while also skirting the WARN Act to hide what's actually happening)
I recently saw authentic letters from inside the EPO that showed me PIPs (or what the EPO calls "Professional Incompetence Procedure") get misused to sack experienced, highly-qualified staff, only to replace that staff with complicit friends and loyalists of the "Alicante Mafia". We'll cover this in the ongoing (still-running) EPO series.
This isn't just misguided, it is overt corruption. They 'sell' jobs to friends and in the process they mob the people who actually care about the EPO's integrity, lawfulness etc. Actual cocaine addicts are pushing out moral people. What sort of planet is this??? People are being rewarded for crimes and for their connection to criminal activities. Justice gets outsourced to Microsoft slop in another continent, where Microsoft is routinely found to have broken laws.
This is not "AI"; this is misconduct. █
