Living in Freedom When 'False Flag Operations' Like EFF Get Captured by Billionaires to Take Freedom Away

There are many ways to think of Software Freedom and of freedom in general. One way is to say that adopting software that one can control - more so in an increasingly digitalised world - would emancipate the self.
Here's another, courtesy of the latest article from Linux-libre's lead developer, Alex Oliva:
Free software respects our freedom. Having freedom doesn't mean that all of our problems are magically solved and our of our wishes are suddenly granted. It only means that we're not being prevented from pursuing solutions for our problems, or from following our dreams. Therefore, freedom, and thus free software, aren't to be understood as solutions in themselves, but as enablers of solutions, as unblocked paths for us to get wherever we feel like.
With freedom, with control over our own lives, we can then work on solving social problems. Without it, we're under control of others, and limited by the roadblocks they place in our paths to stop us from even trying.
He's correct. He ends with the words, "freedom is not the end, it is only the beginning."
"It's why malevolent interests attack RMS so much over the F-word," an associate remarks. "Now that digital freedom is all but vanquished, and physical freedom is following the same path, they don't want him starting a resurgence or even an interest in it."
My life is still full of digital freedom, so I am in control of my life and I plan to write many articles today, more so now that I've offloaded some curation activities. It's in recognition of the fact that news is rapidly dying. The lack of journalism is part of freedom's erosion and a lack of public access to critical information.
As the associate puts it, "millennials and younger have essential grown up without the rights (especially in the digital realm) that their ancestors fought, bled, and died to retain. They not only voluntarily give all that heritage away, for a few clicks or likes, but worse browbeat their peers into making the same mistake."
"Dipshits like the new EFF, unlike the old crew, fight to help eliminate the last vestiges of those right from the digital world. The old crew fought to preserve those established rights as the world transitioned to more and more digital interactions. Dipshits like the FSFE [sic] and the new Linux Foundation (not the old) and the new OSI (not the old) are sneakier and are essentially false flag operations against freedom."
"New EFF == Blue Hair == active disinterest in universal digital rights," the associate argues.
Techrights still has some EFF stories to tell in the coming years. EFF is an enemy of women. Worse, EFF is still fronting for oligarchs while boosting slop and social control media owned and controlled by plutocrats. █
