Google speaks of 'overspending/s'; it doesn't want anyone to pay attention to the insane borrowings:

Google is in deep doodoo. It's a fæces of a company, no matter if it calls itself "Google" or "Alphabet" (like Facebook with the name "Meta", made up to distract from epic scandals and shore up a buzzword, "metaverse").
Wait till it "monetises" billions of GMail users with slop (it won't work, but it helps fake "demand" or "usage" of "Gemini"). Sort of like Microsoft with "CoPilot"...
Does "Gemini" (Bard really) pay off? Not really. See, slop doesn't scale well because the money spent producing slop (training and prompting) can never be offset by fees charged for use. People won't pay for slop (or very few would).
So expect a lot more enshittification from Google. Better yet, disengage completely before it gets much worse. █
