Brett Wilson LLP Seems to Have Done for Roberto Foa What It Did a Year Earlier for the Serial Strangler from Microsoft
In late October 2024 (when our British webhost was being issued threats from America - efforts to bypass the legal process in spite of our lawsuits and only weeks after them [1, 2]), only days or a few weeks before the US got an Insurrectionist and Jeffrey Epstein protector/ally as its President, Brett Wilson LLP opened a new case against me without prior warning on behalf of a Texan who had been in prison as a Microsoft (also GNOME) employee. It happened when Garrett (also GNOME) was running low on money and sought funding from third parties (as he did many times). It paid a court fee to intimidate me but did not specify in Particulars of Claim (POC) what it was really about. After the Serial Strangler from Microsoft had repeatedly begged me he made a "generous offer" and months later in the same year Garrett admitted under sworn oath that he coordinated this if not directed this. This may go back to 2021.
Now, in February 2026, Brett Wilson LLP seems to be doing the same thing, this time against Cambridge University. Notice how they tossed in many parties (to increase cost and complexity) and they've not even added a POC after two months! Remember that Brett Wilson LLP is still being sued by its own clients [1, 2, 3] for basically abandoning them.
The case against Cambridge University was filed on December 12th. Two days from now it'll be February 12th and still no POC.
It seems like Brett Wilson LLP is gaming and abusing the system (also breaching rules) in the same way it did for the Serial Strangler from Microsoft. We reported this a year ago to the SRA (see Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV) and it failed miserably to the point of parroting the very same lies refuted directly by Garrett in a testimony transcribed this past October (under sworn oath).
Worse yet, the SRA basically investigated nothing, it just gave assignments to the complainants and stalled. It seems like a common modus operandi and there's nobody to complain to (except SRA itself).
The SRA isn't keeping 'hired guns' under control. It's just washing its hands for 'hired guns' and chilling free press/speech in the UK. In this case it goes against an academic institution; last year (in KB-2025-004279) Brett Wilson LLP also went against University of Lancashire.
Suffice to say, Brett Wilson LLP has no scholars, only unscrupulous lawyers and paralegals portrayed as "lawyers". Brett Wilson LLP hires people who worked for actual PR agencies and some of them run away. At least Brett Wilson LLP is honest enough to publicly admit that it in the business of "reputation management" (laundering) and gaming the legal system is the method. Last year it did this for the supporters of the UK's far right, who moreover broke laws [1, 2].
Later today my wife will contact politicians about it. Repeat abusers (of the legal system) will misuse it as long as regulators do nothing.
Don't take our word for it; the SRA is a laughing stock. It doesn't need a "reset", it needs a replacement. █
