There are probably many more layoffs coming Bing's way. It's losing a lot of money and many Bing staff already got pink-slipped.

The simple fact or the harsh reality is, Microsoft failed to compete with Google and Microsoft chatbots didn't really make a dent, either. Now the usage of chatbots is on the decline, based on many reputable sources/metrics.

If statCounter is to be trusted, Microsoft is in trouble in this largest Silicon Valley sponsor. Burning more and more energy might help make it richer, but its residents don't want Microsoft. █
