Still Some Slopfarms in View, Sometimes Targetting "Linux"

Today in RSS (or Atom) feeds we saw little slop except from this one site:

Slop or fake: IDS vs IPS: Blocking Traffic with Snort (Risks, Rules, and Reality)

Slop or fake: Maintaining DKIM Integrity for Linux-Based Email Servers in Operation

Even author names are bunk.

In Google News, searching for "linux", this slopfarm that is part of a network of slopfarms coughed up/out:

Slop or fake: LockBit Ransomware Unleashes Devastating 5.0 Version Targeting Windows, Linux, and ESXi

And another, relatively new slopfarm:

Slop or fake: Experts Share Three Ways To Switch Linux Distros Safely

Slop or fake: Five Atomic Linux Distros Win Confidence For Updates

A misleadingly named slopfarm:

Slop or fake: SELinux And AppArmor Adoption Statistics 2026

That's a total of at least 4 in Google News today, coming from 3 sources.

Google wouldn't struggle to detect all these as LLM slop; but Google just doesn't seem to care.

Assuming some time later this year LLMs will go offline (no financial viability) keeping up all that slopping will become much harder (e.g. fees and rate-limiting).
