What Do People Ever Buy From Microsoft Anyway (Not PCs)?

One is tempted to say "advertisers".
Many years ago we pointed out that not many people buy anything from Microsoft. A Hotmail or GitHub account isn't purchased, Windows just "comes with a PC" (these days Microsoft cannot charge OEMs much for it), and like Google and Farcebook Microsoft's debt is going through the roof, saying that it emphasises slop (that nobody would want to pay for and most people do not even want to begin with).
So to paraphrase and rewrite the new comment above, Microsoft is a stock scam, nobody purchases anything from them, and if it disappeared tomorrow, how would it affect your life?
There are companies that people actually buy technology from, e.g. Sony or Samsung. Microsoft used to sell XBox, but in recent years Microsoft lost hundreds of dollars in each sale and despite those "dumping prices" XBox almost died - almost nobody buys one anymore and many retailers quit stocking these.
Microsoft sells two things these days: 1) vapourware/promises. 2) its stock. █
"Microsoft, the world’s most valuable company, declared a profit of $4.5 billion in 1998; when the cost of options awarded that year, plus the change in the value of outstanding options, is deducted, the firm made a loss of $18 billion, according to Smithers."
