Microsoft never issued a formal statement, it made allusions by proxy

There are already Microsoft layoffs (they push managers off the cliff first) and earlier today we were reminded by insiders that not only is the atmosphere in the company really bad; many people leave, with or without an impending PIP. So teams get smaller, headcount goes down, working hours go up steeply, and morale is down.

Microsoft is basically collapsing while its managers lie to and try to control the media. █
