worm eleventh day
Although I wrote a lot in the last few days, I was annoyed by my tone, so I didn't post any of that writing.
The days are going well. I set myself the goal to not buy food for my time alone and it's going well. I made some granola with stuff I haven't used in the kitchen for a while, oat, hemp heart, lin seed, and old jar of honey, a bag of coconut flakes. It turned out pretty good, now I have a shitload of granola!
I might make bread this weekend too as I have a lot of flour and no more bread!

Despair, or: Riding the Tiger
Lately I've been struggling a little bit with despair for the state of the world. (These are unorganized thoughts - bear with me)
Even outside of the fact that so many outlandish conspiracy theories have been proven true in the past months about who actually rules this world, the surface-level stuff is bad enough. Let's start with one thing in particular (don't worry, I'll circle back to a silver lining)

sent my thesis
Well, I'm happy to say that i have finally sent my phd thesis after months of writing.
It was quite a painful period. Even if my supervisor was happy to proofread and help, the corrections were quite brutal and my self-steem took a heavy blow.
Quite happy it's over, thinking of buying the new diablo2 expansion and having some fun with demons

This "Toddler Cyberdeck" Provides a Touchscreen-Loving Kid with Their Own Custom Media Remote
Pseudonymous maker "superwillis," hereafter simply "Willis," has designed a compact cyberdeck with a difference: it's designed to provide age-suitable curated entertainment to a three-year-old toddler — as a combination streaming remote and touchscreen busy board.
"So my three-year-old (almost three) toddler is way too good at using touchscreen devices and phones, and frequently gets on to YouTube where she immediately swipes her way into weird rabbit holes," Willis explains of the problem the device was designed to solve. "She also constantly wants to change the show herself and therefore prefers touchscreen like a phone instead of using a remote. So, I started building a tiny Roku touchscreen remote. Only the shows she likes, and a little digital remote screen too (if you swipe right)."

Clone a virtual machine from inside it
I want to move my virtual machine from hoster edis.at to hoster hosting.de. I'm using Debian stable/13/Trixie. Both of these are KVM but I am just client, I don't have access to their management tools. So how to go about it?
This page does not have an answer to the question. If you know what I'm missing, let me know.
The two servers are `sibirocobombus` (source) and `new-home` (target). My idea is that I will just copy the whole filesystem first, using `rsync`. Many of the SQLite databases will be borked but that doesn't matter. I make the target system bootable and reboot. Verify that this works. This is where I'm stuck.

App vs. app
The average user easily obliges and installs an app when a random, suspicious-looking website asks them to. However, they resist installing Element, Signal, and other secure messaging applications after half an hour of their trusted friend or member explaining why it's a good idea to do so!

Lupa And Onion
When I checked the logs on the PI running my super secret onion site, I noticed a request for robots.txt from the Lupa search engine. Sure enough, Lupa now lists Gemini .onion addresses.

Lali Lambda: mirror
Here, I am continuing with writing little snippets of Lali[0] code.
Here are two functions, 'mirrorlr' and 'mirror'. The 'mirror' function, works by returning the symmetrical element, given an element DIGIT of the list LST.
