'FSFE' an Imposter in Europe, Paid by GAFAM to Represent GAFAM Interests
The Microsoft-sponsored 'FSFE', which violates the terms of use of its name, is causing confusion:

The Boston-based "FSF needs to come down on trademark infringers," an associate of Techrights has remarked, as "it is [coming] to the point where the Norwegian Consumer Council is confusing imitators with the real FSF. See footnote 170:

The above is the context of a reference to the "Free Software Foundation" when actually linking to the The Microsoft-sponsored 'FSFE'.
Norwegians can perhaps clarify the matter to their officials, "maybe in conjunction with the FSF itself," the associate has added. Years ago I raised this matter with some very influential YouTubers, who then did videos that explain 'FSFE' is not in fact affiliated with the real FSF, it just misuses the name and creates confusion, much like SFC obscured and marginalised the real thing, SFLC (the SFLC sued SFC over this).
And "also," the associate has said, "how did the FSF itself miss out on joining the cover letter?"

No FSF here, but ORG and Doctorow show up:

The FSF recently lost one European staff member, but its chief is Dutch, so perhaps it's a giant missed opportunity (to add its collective weight).
ORG and Doctorow are highlighted about because they wrote about it and some wrote about them (we added it to Daily Links).
But the main issue is, formally-recognised institutions got tricked into thinking that the Microsoft-sponsored 'FSFE' (now Vodafone) is the FSF. █
