Free Software Foundation Needs to Become More Active in Europe to Avoid Impersonation by Microsoft-Sponsored Groups
Published yesterday: 'FSFE' an Imposter in Europe, Paid by GAFAM to Represent GAFAM Interests
Denmark's "Version2" has this new article that reminded our associate of the above-mentioned imposter in Europe ('FSFE'). This associate argued that the FSF is in acute need of doing outreach in Europe while the window of opportunity is still opening, as Europe does need guidance for regaining control of its technology, and moreover it is essential to remind them all of Software Freedom as core tenet of control. Next week and later this week RMS is travelling to Switzerland and giving talks (the Swiss state is not part of the EU and a Swiss person left the FSF months ago). It would help if the FSF took advantage of Cheeto causing Europe to lose trust in the US:
So far we've hardly seen the FSF saying anything at all about the US president. It did mention Biden in relation to Microsoft and Biden's de facto bailout, as well as slop. The former piece's author has since then left. █
