Another EPO Strike a Fortnight From Now, Local Staff Committee Munich (LSCMN) Shares 127-Page Document Explaining How Policies Impact EPO Staff

The EPO is on strike. The workers have had enough. The Office is circling down the drain.
"The Local Staff Committee Munich [LSCMN] invites all staff to a General Assembly on Tuesday 10 March, at 11.00 hrs," it said today. It'll take place 5 days from now and 9 days before the next strike. The latest strike attracted over 1,500 EPO workers, who joined the industrial actions and even lowered their own income - sacrificing it for the greater good.
On the agenda five days from now: "Salary Erosion Procedure – Next Actions – Further Effort Needed" and "AOB".
Quoting LSCMN:
Following the General Consultative Committee (GCC) meeting of 24 February, the Central Staff Committee (CSC) has submitted its opinion on the orientations for a new salary adjustment procedure. According to simulations over the period 2014-2025, the proposal still shows a double digit loss in purchasing power for all places of employment without any financial justification in view of the excellent results and surpluses of the EPO.
The trade union SUEPO continues with the industrial action plan to fight the erosion of salaries, pensions and benefits with
work-to-rule actions,
demonstration on Wednesday 18 March at 12.30h in front of the Isar building, all Munich staff is invited and staff from other places of employment will also join
a third day of strike on Thursday 19 March
Please consider moving conflicting meetings in order to have the opportunity to join the General Assembly.
