Woman claims her husband was suddenly laid off from Microsoft: 'Even his manager had no idea'

Some dude from Microsoft said no layoffs (in a tweet responding to a tweet). The media misrepresented that as Microsoft saying no layoffs. But there are layoffs, even mass layoffs. Like IBM, Microsoft is trying to hide it all.

“My husband was let go today from his role at Microsoft. It was a complete surprise to him - he did not see it coming at all and even his manager had no idea,” this article quotes. It's not just him.

When will the media properly investigate this? In IBM's case, there is hardly any coverage at all of the mass layoffs. █
