IBM Has No Clue How to Integrate Companies Like Red Hat

Today is my last day at Apptio, an IBM Company.

Bluewashed out of work.

I have been forced to drive so many of these initiatives, just to learn that after a year or so of the completion, there is hardly any usage or revenue. The brains behind those ideas have zero accountability.

IBM was recently (this month) sued by a manager and this report about it was last updated 10 hours ago. The above thread indicates serious problems in IBM's management, including severe integration problems. Perhaps this can help explain why Red Hat became little but a buzzwords pet ("hey hi") and even its own Web site is now partly slop. As for IBM, after using "hey hi" vapourware to rally the stock it is being deflated some more:

Red Hat used to promote GNU/Linux, but as shown above (screenshots too), its own Web site is adopting slop and promoting slop. IBM is failing to respect this company's culture. █
