WB Games Montréal Undergoes Layoffs, Extent of Cuts Unknown
Warner Bros.’ gaming division has become a shell of its former self, going from producing titles like the Arkham trilogy to now failures like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and MultiVersus, which have cost the company hundreds of millions of dollars.
Unfortunately, the repercussions of those actions are still being felt to date, as WB Games’ Montreal office has now apparently been hit with an unknown number of layoffs.
Why it matters: Layoffs are never a good sign for the industry, and to add salt to the wound, Warner Bros. gaming division holds some of the best talent in gaming.
