Never Trust People Who Write Their Own Wikipedia Pages (Vanity Pages About Themselves) or Ask Friends to Do So. Also: Jono Bacon is Married to Microsoft.
We'd hardly be the first to point out Wikipedia isn't what it seems or what it publicly claims to be. In practice a lot of it is composed or 'polished' by PR agencies and bad actors. Sometimes government actors. Wikipedia is biased in favour of particular governments and people who pay Wikipedia a lot of money (e.g. Bill Epsteingate) attach invisible strings to the money; they have tacit editorial control.
In 2009 I was invited to be a guest in FLOSS Weekly, where the real host (Leo) was nice to me and Jono Bacon acted as an attack dog of Mono, Novell, and Microsoft. He was also the lapdog of Mark Shuttleworth (MS), who lost his tongue inside Microsoft's anus because he believed he'd find money in there (just like Miguel de Icaza).
Nobody hears anything about (or from) Bacon anymore, but he got himself a vanity page in Wikipedia and it's hilarious. It does not mention that he became a shill of GAFAM (he's being sold by the Linux Foundation like an "elite [corporate] prostitute") and he's married to Erica Brescia, who was Microsoft's mole inside the Linux Foundation and is still there running things with the people who buy their seats and reserve seats. We used to call it "ZemlinPAC" because it's nothing but a corporate lobby of billionaires and those who suck up to them. █
