Microsoft is being secretive about mass layoffs. Microsoft has real issues with several incredulous, wasteful business units and painting them as "hey hi" to spin losses as "investment" won't work forever.
Many people are leaving, including Microsoft managers. The media is doing a lousy job covering layoffs these days. When it does mention them, it typically just parrots mindless lies (excuses) like "hey hi".
Microsoft will continue to shrink while the media pretends it's either not happening or "XBox to make a comeback" (or some unbelievable fiction alone those lies, making people want to vomit).
Nowadays Microsoft tries to promote this idea that Windows is XBox and XBox is Windows. Way to kill off XBox without saying so explicitly. █
