Microsoft Azure is Now “Perpetually on Life Support”, Even Microsoft Sites Express Concerns

Yesterday: Azure is Dying, the "Entertainment" (Slop) Couldn't Lift Up Fake 'Demand' For Azure
Less than a decade ago Microsoft-connected sites kept saying that AWS was doomed and Microsoft would replace AWS with Azure. Those predictions are forgotten by now, so nobody will get ridiculed for making them. Similar predictions were made about Google Search in light of slop hype (LLMs).
The reason many people - not just geeks - want Microsoft to fail is expressed in this hours-old article entitled "Microsoft is Worse than You Think". The outline says: "Microsoft is worse than the “friendly software company” image suggests, because the story keeps repeating: squeeze the market, normalize surveillance, then call it innovation. The problem isn’t one bad product or one unlucky quarter. It’s a pattern, and the receipts are public."
If Microsoft dies (its shares fell about 35%, a lot more than stated above), we might still be stuck with GAFAM, which is why we need to urge people to move to Free software, not just away from Microsoft. Software Freedom extends to other things. █
