Thoughts while High
After paying a visit to an inconspicuous smoke shop, I got myself an edible gummy. I never thought that 420 mg of THC was strong, but apparently it was enough to send me on a trip. Fortunately, I was lying in bed when it all happened.
It felt like there was a circle forming around my skull, and it was spinning like a tidal wave across the membrane, carving like a plow. I was reaching my hands out into the sky like a toddler, and chuckling uncontrollably.

I bat my eyelashes at you pout a little, even as if asking nicely wasn't completely

daily nvim
A few months ago I started the transition to using NeoVim as my daily driver text editor. I used to really enjoy using vim back at uni, but then made the switch to graphical-based IDEs (primarily the Jetbrains suite with some VSCode on my home machine) late into my degree and never really looked back as I moved into my first real job.
Switching to nvim and getting it up to parity with my normal IDE workflow is an almighty task with a lot of different facets to learn. I've definitely spent far more time reading docs and modifying configuration than I've spent actually coding, though the learning curve is flattening out and my productivity is slowly returning.
One thing I started doing was keeping a small notebook of tips, tricks, and various commands that I knew I would have no shot of remembering the first (or second...or third) time of using them. I've decided to share these to my glog as "daily nvim" posts. They're not particularly in depth or helpful, but I figured it's an easy way to keep up momentum on the glog and share my journey into nvim-land.

GeminiMDB
You can specify the year using the link at the bottom of the page if it returns the right title but wrong movie. The API key is limited to 1,000 lookups a day. It's Gemini so I'm not too worried.

Documenting and maintaining HowTo's and issue resolutions on Gemini
I used to keep a lot of my howto's and resolutions in a text document years ago. Then I moved up to Evernote. It worked but Evernote was not free and I could only sync with one device. THats a no-go for me. Then I discovered Joplin a few years ago and it has been my companion ever since. It's chock full of stuff.
That still works, but I thought, "what if I want to share what I have learned?" Joplin can do that but it seemed like a lot of work for something maybe a handfull (or maybe no one?) would ever read.

Should I Ship It?
Several months ago I wrote an iOS Gemini client called Titan II. I finished the MVP, but I haven't really had the time or motivation to ship it to the App Store. I have no idea if anyone would really want it or use it. I like it, and maybe that's enough. At the very least it could motivate me to be on Gemini more often.

* Gemini (Primer) links can be opened using Gemini software. It's like the World Wide Web but a lot lighter.
