Internet Trolls Likely Trying to Distract From the Demise of IBM, Problems With Red Hat

Trolling (very obvious distraction from IBM's shares collapsing):

IBM Is in Excellent financial strength

IBM CFO: Red Hat Enterprise Linux decelerated due to federal shutdown in Q4

News sites did not mention it, but a couple of weeks ago IBM laid off 400+ Red Hat engineers. It had also sacked many people at Confluent and HashiCorp. Way to pour acquisition money - borrowed money - down the drain. Even "core" IBM staff get laid off en masse.

As people rightly note, there seems to be trolling online aimed at suppressing discussion or sabotaging forums that discuss those topics. Some suspect that LLMs are being leveraged by low-cost (meagre salary) HR or PR operatives contracted by IBM. █
