The Man IBMers Regard or Already See as Likely Successor of Krishna (or Next CEO of IBM) is a Slop Fanatic
Do not focus on how he dresses; focus on the total "BS" that comes out of his mouth (at IBM, BS gets one promoted by Krishna the buzzwords slinger)

Today there's this powwow about Rob Thomas, who many seem to consider a likely successor if (or when) Krishna 'retires' because he's failing.

Judging by his personal site (yes, it's his), Rob Thomas engages in shameless slop promotion. His latest:

Many straw men here.
First, there is the question of accountability.
Second, nobody speaks of "100%".
The issue is, slop does things poorly, and what it does can result in even more burden on staff and more blunders for companies that adopt it.
There are many other issues. This is not an exhaustive debunking.
It does not seem like he knows what he is talking about, it's more of that "high-level" "buzzword-dropping" "virtue-signalling" noise.
Published by the man some insiders consider to be IBM's next CEO, this fares/bodes badly for Fedora and Red Hat, whose staff already complains about do-slop-or-get-out policy (sometimes ranting about this in public as well, as we showed earlier this month). They envision a sort of IBM where slop does the work.
How dangerously misguided.
Many IBMers seem to have adopted the name "Slob Thomas". They should instead go with "Slop Thomas" (or "Sloppy Thomas", which rhymes with "Robby Thomas"). █

He's not even talking about "AI"; he seems to have no grasp of what that term means.
