Gartner Pays The Register MS and the Effect is Visible (IBM Promotion; IBM Also a Sponsor, of Both!)
How to craft marketing without disclosure:

The Editor of The Register MS admitted to me (directly) that IBM had paid them and only weeks ago Gartner, also funded by IBM, paid this publisher: The Register MS, About 6 Million Pounds in Debt, Helps Promote Microsoft's Gartner Group and Prop Up the Ponzi Scheme of Slop Plagiarism, Fake Article Mentions "AI" About 20 Times
The above is truly excellent... as an example of three-way embedded marketing. It sells something for a client of Gartner and also reinforces the false notion that Gartner is widely respected, revered, admired as an "analyst".
Follow the money. █
“Analysts sell out - that’s their business model… But they are very concerned that they never look like they are selling out, so that makes them very prickly to work with.”
