The world of dreams
I do not have concious memories of my early childhood but my dreams are set in a world clearly seen through the eyes of a toddler.
Over the decades I identified the real world places those dreams take place. This is a dream world built from the city and wider area I live in to this day.

the axe
if someone hurt me my mother would visit them with an axe only a slight exaggeration so how do I tell her anything even the tiniest bit and expect her to sit still while I let fear win again

Beer
For many years I couldn't drink even one beer without getting a splitting migraine for a couple days. About a month ago, I tried to drink a beer, worried it would put me in bed for the next day. Nothing happened. So I've been drinking so much more in the last few weeks.
I really liked to be scared of drinking for so long. But I guess I have to go through a celebration round, and drift back into the non-drinking habit I had. I have to admit I was still drinking high end mescal, but at 100$ per bottle, my habits were quite limited.

Intense people die young
I've always been attracted to intense people. The crazy, the creative, the drug addicted. They are more fun, they are more alive, they are more real.
But they die young.
Parts of me wants to save them. Parts of me know that it can't happen. Intense people give it all in. If they survive, something magical comes out on the other side. Like the butterfly struggling out of the cocoon, the struggle is needed, if not the butterfly couldn't fly.

full moon, cherry bloom
Under the blooming cherry tree, we received our friends with the konro grill and a fire in the wheel barrel. This concluded quite the weekend of festivities.
Friday night of Karate, then magic mushroom, mdma and improv electronic music until the early hours of the morning. Saturday, mescal and coca, tattoo and music. Sunday of friends and food on the patio.

How to get a package onto pkg.go.dev
I started reading the section about version control systems in the Go Modules Reference. Whaaat. So complicated. Well, it's complicated if you have changed the package name in the past, that is, you changed the URLs. It's complicated if you self-host your bare git repositories. Ugh.

Natural Web Exploration
I was looking for images from Smallville. I love the show, at least before it became a proto-Justice League thing, and thankfully(?) the last true unbought search seems to be image searches. I was using DDG, as usual, in a GUI browser, and I was delighted to find smallville.marianobayona.com . It is a Web 1.0 website: full of static data, good ol' HTML, and that distinct Geocities vibe that ruled the late '90s and early '00s.
Afterwards I went and visited the site in Links2 in graphics mode and read more on it. It's all in Spanish, which I thankfully know enough to read with minimal confusion. It's actually kind of beautiful: he kept the pages up in remembrance of his wife. He, at least, was a big fan of Superman and seemingly a few other heroes/comic book characters.

* Gemini (Primer) links can be opened using Gemini software. It's like the World Wide Web but a lot lighter.
