SLAPP Censorship - Part 71 Out of 200: 5RB Barristers Made Tens of Thousands of Pounds by Changing From Plural to Singular for Microsoft's Graveley and Garrett
posted by Roy Schestowitz on May 09, 2026
Could not even get the client's name right!

Notice that even the numbers are the same. The above page is a one-minute 'copypasta'. Incredible!
From what we can gather, in order to become a barrister at 5RB Barristers (even a junior one) all one needs is an English language comprehension skill (basic level), an Apple Mac, and some experience copy-pasting text while interjecting some text transmitted from a deceitful firm like Brett Wilson LLP. Any 'frat blogger' can do such a job. What are the rates per real time spent? £2,000 per hour? More? Even professional footballers don't earn this much (in their prime, pro rata). To put it in perspective, the top 100 footballers in the Premier League may be paid less than this per hour (top 50 is about £2,500 per hour).
I honestly fail to see what makes such barristers so revered and respected. They read scripts in their pleadings to judges (the scripts are authored or at least drafted by lawyers, they merely present these) and it seems it truly hurts the hired guns when we point out to judges they sent 85+ KG of legal papers our way - including thousands pages of binary slop - to the point they bring up their excuses out of nowhere, trying to justify it because they know how bad it looks (optics). That's what their barrister - the 'copypasta' guy - did some weeks ago in London.
It's hard to understand what exactly goes on inside their minds; why work for clients like these? And given their behaviour, it seems like they need Brett (crime department) more than they need Wilson (media 'hired guns' department).
The above shows how little effort was put by them to put together a lawsuit. We showed more examples in the previous part and many other parts. We'd love to learn what the Bar Standards Board (BSB) has to say about this.
Regarding the above, I did in fact respond to that (citing the response to Garrett) in my counterclaim to the Serial Strangler from Microsoft:
32.Regarding remedies:
-
It seems appropriate to point out that the remedies sought here are overlapping what was asked in the Garrett Case, even the same number, 6.
Regarding what the Claimant herein claims:
-
i.There was no libel. There was no malicious falsehood.
-
ii.No privacy violations were committed, nor were any demonstrated to have been committed. The mere claims from the Claimant’s lawyers (to whom he is a client) do not constitute an actual court judgment, and moreover they’re not balanced as the Defendants did not yet have a chance to present their side or even to be heard. This case really oughtn’t have anything to do with privacy; to frame it as a matter of privacy would be almost as absurd as using the copyright or trademark brush, e.g. asserting that quoting the Claimant’s messages or showing his face is a copyright infringement or merely mentioning his name is harmful to his “brand”. Different laws exist for different scenarios and if the Claimant feels unhappy about the publications, seeking alternative laws by which to paint them as ‘unlawful’ would serve no purpose other than as a safety net (in case the libel claims are thrown out, as they ought to be).
-
iii. This is basically an attempt to gag and censor the Defendant, hoping to prevent the Defendant soliciting testimonies, or the Defendant finding other victims of abuse (as usual, by the Claimant). It is important to have more people testifying that they too have been victimised by the Claimants’ antics. Those antics really need to be brought to an end; if any attempt to subject people to accountability resulted in a frivolous lawsuit, society would be worse off (collectively).
-
iv.This is a demand for censorship of material that isn’t just publicly available but was published by the Claimant, his friends, the US Government etc.
-
v.See the Garrett Case. All the demands are the same and are even listed in the exact same order! In the Garrett Case, this demand presumptuously if not arrogantly assumes that the Claimant can win the case – a court case he said he would pursue for a “nominal fee” or “reduced rate” (his words) because it would be “funny”. Pursuing such a case to exhaustion would exhaust even the means of a millionaire. The Defendant’s legal representative already told quite candidly and frankly that this kind of case, owing to the number of claims contained in the Particulars of Claim, would easily cost over a million pounds, possibly for each side (hence, over a million combined). It does not make any sense to pursue a case at such a considerable cost if the claimed amount is about 10 times smaller than the cost of the case itself. The lawyers are, in effect, doing the same thing that previously backfired all over again, this time hoping for less money being available to the Defendant.
-
vi.This is another effort to censor articles, just like in the Garrett Case. To repeat Paragraph 37 (from the Garrett Case): “As to the Prayer, the Claimant is not entitled to the remedies pleaded or to any remedies.”
The lawsuits were all along closely connected. See this detailed timeline. It began in 2021 and third parties are funding this. █
