Head of GitHub Recently Left, Microsoft Need No Longer Report Mass Layoffs There (User Activity is Declining)

A few months ago the de facto head of GitHub left Microsoft. Hardly anybody in the media talked about it (or explained the significance of her departure) and since last year Microsoft need no longer report Microsoft GitHub layoffs because of organisational (structural) changes. Judging by some analytics, amid mass exodus the "engagement" (non-bot) in GitHub is down.
We've long said that LinkedIn and GitHub, which Microsoft bought, would likely end up like Skype. Just give is a few more years. █
