Is AI Profitable Yet?

Recent: Biggest "AI Companies" (Meta, Alphabet, Microsoft) Borrowed (Additional Debt) About $100,000,000,000 in a Year

Slop is a catastrophe, but it helps con banks and shareholders into giving loans (or "investments") that will never get paid back. A lot of this "industry" is just accounting fraud, such as circular financing. Since the complicit regimes don't seem to pay attention or mind (politicians are bribed to turn a blind eye or play along with nonsense like "slop regulations") it'll end up very badly. Earlier this week a new poster in libreplanet-discuss took note of the tallies above, saying:

Hello I'm codeDude

This is my first post in this email list, I just figured out this community and I'm excited to read and share with you.

For my first post I'd like to share this webpage that shows if the AI is profitable nowadays, it's impressive to see the numbers graphically. I don't know when the big companies will stop with this but they are burning so much money.

Regards.

That site looks a bit like the US debt clock. Everything is a giant minus.
