The Register MS, desperate for income (it is losing money, based on its own financial filings), has sold its soul. This was published yesterday afternoon:
"AI" is named 24 times in the page. This is not journalism. "Sponsored by Palo Alto Networks."
There's also this "content farm" (SPAM) addition, dated the same and published 5 hours earlier:
In the past few months The Register MS published more than 50+ such SPAM pieces for ZTE, a company widely regarded and formally classified as a national security threat.
The Register MS is now run by a Microsofter (since last summer) and the finances of The Register MS show that it might have no choice but to act unethically. █
