IBM's CEO Does Not Use GNU/Linux, So Why Did He Suggest Buying Red Hat Only to Lay Off Its Workers, Market Slop Instead of Linux, and Sack UNIX Professionals?
Bluewashing is not a sign of success, absorption comes with RAs (staff shed off)
Shortly after IBM had bought Red Hat and there were mass layoffs we pointed out that Red Hat's CEO was not using GNU/Linux. He used an Apple Mac and he had only pretended to be a Fedora enthusiast (in order to get the job many years earlier). IBM showed Red Hat's CEO the door when it made it clear Krishna would be CEO and head of the Board, i.e. the "king of IBM" (and its Ponzi scheme-like economics, wherein they fake everything).
I watched some old videos of Krishna (ages ago). He's not a GNU/Linux user, he's not proficient or articulate in the underlying concepts, and he's only good at buzzword-dropping for interviewers who don't know/grow anything but buzzwords, either (so they can mindlessly nod at one another).
IBM has turned Red Hat into a shrine to slop and to Microsoft. It hardly mentions "Linux" anymore.
Many people at IBM believe that Krishna's strategy is a constant race to the bottom (low wages), as he cannot attain any growth and has no potent strategy except buying more and more companies to fake revenue "growth" (even when there's none; they do "creative" accounting). The unsaid thing is, many offices in Europe and American get shut down (their staff RAd) and IBM either finds no replacements or low-salary replacements (IBM becoming India-Bombay-Mumbai).
Posted 4 hours ago by Anonymous: "No surprise. On my last account as a wintel system administrator I was RA'd at 58 my co worker Unix system administrator at 59. Everything offshore, no more support from the US. If anything needed to be touched they used a cheap 3rd party company. My one experience with that couldn't reload MS server os on a server" (Microsoft 'Server').
Many people point the finger specifically at India. The latest thread says (about IBM liaising with GAFAM): "it should not be a surprise where the thin skinned management of IBM are involved. When things are not going their way, they will cut and run and collude with the Indian management of other IT companies like Google and Microsoft to form questionable partnerships and more. When comments posted on this site hit a nerve, those comments disappear in silence. It is sad that the truth always hurts."
These demographic aspects are conveniently used for censorship of critics (of the strategy alone; they're all presumed racist). █
