What If "Era of AI" and "AI Revolution" (Fake News) Never Happened?
Down again, based on new figures:

What was once conveniently or instinctively dismissed as mere envy, unhealthy scepticism, or being a "Luddite" is nowadays considered well within the "acceptable" spectrum. Many people delete their slop (chatbot/LLM) "apps", some simply got bored over time (lack of novelty), and as the news sites (or 'industry') perish the "hype effect" is gone and people recognise they don't need slop to "get ahead"; worse yet, if caught they will be reflexively humiliated for it. Slop is not "cool"; it's increasingly unpopular.
We seldom expose sites for using slop to make fake articles. We used to. It became rarer. We stopped looking or showing examples. We said we hoped that by the end of this year the adoption or user retention in chatbot companies would drop sharply. Indeed, as of this summer, the biggest chatbot companies "make an exit", recognising they will never be profitable.
So how much longer before the bust (or bubble-burst)? █
