IBM's Next Stop: $199 (Market Cap Already Under 2.5 Times IBM's Debt)

15+ years ago Novell died more or less officially. It was killed by a former IBMer (Ron Hovsepian, who sicced his lawyers at me) 20 years ago when he sold his soul and Novell's soul to Steve Ballmer. He did this in November 2006 and months earlier he was advised to do so by Miguel de Icaza et al.
Now, IBM as the sole owner of Red Hat (almost fully bluewashed by now) is circling down the drain. It's run by a longtime IBMer who is extremely dishonest and is likely to have engaged in securities fraud. It was his idea to buy Red Hat.
As we said earlier this week [1, 2], Red Hat staff ought to start looking for another job. We said the same about Novell many years ago. Our advice turned out to have aged well.
Don't rush to call us "sensationalist" over it. Our track record show we're just ahead of the curve. █
