Tears in IBM, Company Falls Apart While Management Fakes "Performance" to Take Bonuses
The IBM story was mentioned earlier today in this article about fake "journalism" (false news, trying to sell lies). Insiders call this the "IBM Titanic." Yes, it's giant. It is still afloat. But everyone is abandoning. Because everybody can see it is sinking.
And "exactly this," someone said some hours ago about IBM. "As a company, we’re remarkably unaware and lack self awareness of how we’re perceived by everyone else. We very much like the smell of our own farts..."
Indeed, as noted elsewhere this weekend, IBM management lives in some sort of parallel universe or lies to itself (and to staff).

My manager found out the day I was let go. As I boarded a flight to celebrate my wedding anniversary for a cruise, I was told. He was in tears.Almost no one left is left in my team and he knows his time is running out as he works on useless things.
IBM is on a death march. When your number is up, it is up. It is like being eliminated by rogue shrapnel in a battle - impossible to predict or prevent.
There are other stories similar to the above, all from this evening alone:

Two days ago we published: IBM Can Burn Pensioners to Appease Wall Street and Protect the Billionaire CEO With His Humongous Bonuses
"Remember," says a new comment, "the replacement for 401ks is FDIC insured, which is important, cause they'll loot the retirement fund on their way out the door once the collapse becomes inevitable. It's just good jugaad, saar."
"I don't trust them except to always do the wrong thing," someone responded, "I am collecting my RBA as soon as I can (already cashed out my PPA)."
Many people already talk about what will happen to their pension if or when IBM collapses entirely.
Another thread speaks about IBM's "goodwill" value today - a subject we covered in: IBM: Shares Down 30%, Mass Layoffs, IBM Says "Goodwill" Grew by 10% to Over a Third of the Company's Total "Worth" | Great News, IBM 'Gained' Almost 10% in "Goodwill" Value After Firing Tens of Thousands in 2025 | IBM Gained Almost 6 Billion Dollars in "Goodwill" Value in Just 3 Months, According to IBM | IBM Says That Half of Its "Assets" is Basically Pure Fiction ("Goodwill")
From the thread:
IBM's Goodwill Value
In accounting, goodwill represents the premium a company pays over the fair market value of net assets when it makes an acquisition. It captures intangible qualities like brand reputation, a skilled workforce, and business synergies.
The Composition of IBM's Goodwill :
The Source: IBM's goodwill has steadily grown due to its long history of corporate acquisitions.
Recent Activity: High-profile software and data acquisitions (such as HashiCorp, Confluent, and DataStax) have added to this balance.
Balance Sheet Context: While $89.33 billion is carried as an asset on IBM's books, it is an "illiquid" asset. In a worst-case scenario or liquidation, this value often cannot be recovered. This has led some financial analysts to monitor the company's high reliance on intangible assets as a potential point of shareholder risk.
Question:
Given the upcoming announcement of IBM results, what do you think IBM's goodwill value is now ?
"The era of IBM getting the benefit of the doubt is over," said the reply.
IBM has long faked its value, including its "goodwill value". To be clear, it's not just IBM faking such values. Wall Street is a naked emperor. █
