"To enjoy the illusion, maya, without being craving it."
I though to myself.
"Your intention is not complete"
I asked for clarification and then reformulated my intention.
"I want to enjoy the illusion, maya, since it's a form of the divine, and I will welcome what life is brining to me."
The intention was complete and we proceeded to the treatment.
Before the treatment, Lee had to clear the energy, something was blocking the flow. She had to summon the archangel Raziel, the archangel of magic, from the center of the cosmos, in order to come and clear something she called the dojo master.

the hotsprings
I woke up early.
The night was cold. I couldn't warm up completely in the hammock. I had left the sheep skin in the tent for the girls, so I was missing a lot of the warmth I normally have.
I went down to the hot springs to warm up. Only one other woman was in there, reading her book. It seems like she stayed in the natural pool overnight.

3 days before the festival
Three days before the next festival. We're staying at Marc's today. A friend I met while partying here in the Okanagan Valley. He's also separated a year ago, starting to explore his life as a single man. He seems less picky about the type of woman he dates. He's having a lot of fun so it seems.
We drank together yesterday night after a party for my friend healing journey. We talked about where we are in our single's journey. It was refreshing to talk openly about this. He is simple and happy, he likes big boobs and sex. We laugh a lot.

sex on the beach
I was out of control. The K bump was too strong, I didn't know what was going on. Scared for a moment, I didn't recognize people around me. Two naked men, two naked woman, Mark was there, our designated driver. I had tattoo ink all over my hands. We walked to the car, I had a hard time in the stairs, I felt like I needed to run away to safety.

Distilled H2O
Distilled water is an item that is part of my regular grocery list. It has been for some time now. I go through about 5 gallons a week. I usually buy it by the gallon. They have a 2 gallon container, but costs m0ar per ounce. I would think that it would be less expensive buying m0ar in the 2 gallon container, but not the case here.
About a month ago, I got sick of going to the grocery several times a week to pick up my 5 gallons of distilled water. Sometimes the closest grocery does not have it in stock and sometimes I have to check other sources. This time they only had 1 gallon so I grabbed it and took it home. There has to be a better solution.

OPNSense Upgrade failure
Like (nearly) every Sunday, I tried to do my backup/update duties for all my workstation/laptops and my whole homelab. Normally all goes smoothly without too much trouble.
Daily automated backups of my mail server and SyncThing data are performed using BorgBackup to be stored on my 5x 4TB HDD ZFS raidz2. The VMs/containers are backed up on Sundays in the early morning. I just send/receive the incremental backups from this raid to my offline 8TB USB Harddisk.
And I also copy my "Relax-and-Recover" (ReaR) images for my Proxmox system disks to restore my Proxmox nodes in case of a desaster to my Desktop. The images are generated every Sunday at 04:00 and can recover the system disks in headless mode from a Ventoy USB stick. Highly recommended.

Gone, But Far From Forgotten: Remembering the Zilog Z80 at 50
This month marks a milestone moment in personal computing: the 50th anniversary of Zilog launching its venerable Z80, an eight-bit processor originally designed with embedded workloads in mind but which would sit at the very heart of the home computing revolution.

lessons from terminator
Whenever I'm on the "normie" internet, I'm reminded of AI. A big part of it is that so much is generated from it. Another is that the tech world, which I try to keep up with, is flooded with AI talk or slop. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I'm heavily against AI.
There are so many science fiction stories about the dangers of advanced technology. I, Robot, Terminator, Dune (especially the prequel trilogy), etc. Yes, I'm aware that fiction and future predictions are not cold hard facts. But to me, the conclusions and situations aren't that far removed from reason. If CEOs had their way, they'd have a complete AI workforce: no need to pay them (other than the initial investment), no need to give them days off, benefits, etc. When you give reasoning to a machine, there is no way to control it. The fact that they're doing so over interconnected networks is the most terrifying thing.

So that I would write
I find myself struggling to put even a sentence down as I overthink on what this space should be, should do for me, should expose to others. Stuck, digging into tooling, planning out scripts, automation, anything except actually using it. Paralyzed by the thought that I would put something out there which does not belong or did not need to be written.
Except, I set this up so that I would write.
The manual for Smol Pub puts it well, this is "Your journal on the small internet." But what about my life or experience is worth sharing? What am I putting out into the world that has merit to be consumed by anyone else? I barely write in my own physical journal, why would I write anything here?
