Under "Gin" and under "Krish" (not Chris) IBM is pretty much the same: an aimless, emptying corpse running out of "Human Resources", running critically low on innovation, and running out of goodwill patience or karma to run on (or milk further).
A decade ago IBM was passing software patents to patent trolls. After "Krish" came along as CEO (also master of the Board) IBM carried on doing patent blackmail campaigns against all sorts of companies, especially small ones that could not properly "cross-license" (euphemism that disguises the inherent evil).
IBM is not just pathetic; it's actively harmful because it lobbies for software patents and spreads software patents around. █
