The Mainstream Media Continues to Overlook or Intentionally Ignore Hundreds of Billions in Hidden/Secret Microsoft Debt
This headline today speaks of 1.7 billion; the better reporting - which hardly exists but ought to exist - would illuminate just how much in debt Microsoft really is, hence the "bloodbath" (massive layoffs, far bigger than reported in the media)

"Xbox lost $1,700,00000 this year but execs think all will be fine by June 2027," says METRO today. But what about the cost of buying Activision? How much did the debt grow due to that? How did that acquisition end up?
We take no issue with reporting of XBox problems per se; the issue is that Microsoft's crisis is a lot greater and broader than this.
Some time soon we'll see by how much Microsoft "official" debt grew (maybe tomorrow, Friday), based on the ledger 'til June 30. But that sum does not include all the "secret" debt that Microsoft hides through shells and Enron-type methods. █
"Microsoft, the world’s most valuable company, declared a profit of $4.5 billion in 1998; when the cost of options awarded that year, plus the change in the value of outstanding options, is deducted, the firm made a loss of $18 billion, according to Smithers."
