IBM is Circling Down the Drain, the 'Growth' Comes From Beancounting Tricks and Salary Cuts
IBM was down 2.17% yesterday and is already in the red again (set to open in the minus later today). People are leaving e.g.:

On hirings: (lowering salaries, apparently)

IBM is not a friend to Free software. It bought Red Hat, which was a friend to Free software. Over time, however, it changes Red Hat for the worse.
This is not the IBM of Palmisano. This is the IBM of the man who bought Red Hat - or told Ginni to do so - without even understanding what Red Hat was offering (because he never uses GNU/Linux himself) and then took over the Board, where the priority became making promises that IBM will never deliver on. Remember blockchains?
In recent years IBM borrowed a lot of money to buy the revenue of other companies and tried to reduce costs by getting rid of 'expensive' workers (typically without calling it "layoffs" or even "RAs", NDAs and PIPs kept this crisis under the wraps).
IBM is running out of time and it is under several investigations for securities fraud. Will Red Hat survive this like SUSE survived the fall of Novell? █
