All Social Control Media is a Weapon (Against Its Users, Serving the Real Owners)

Daniel Pocock is in the media again (his haters, i.e. people he criticises, loathe this) and his platform speaks strongly and consistently against social control networks. There are no exceptions to this.
Pocock, like many others, came to the conclusion that the best way to publish is in one's own platform/s, not relying on "masters" like "Zuck" or "MElon". It should be federated directly, using RSS feeds, not some centrally controlled "syndication" disservices that serve their masters (planets, Fediverse etc.) and apply censorship based on someone else's taste, not the actual audiences' taste (e.g. IBM).
That social control networks are weaponised isn't a new concept. During the "Arab Spring" it became all too obvious; we saw the same last week in Spain. They not only get to control the narrative; they choose what to show and what to hide, then they call that "algorithms" (now it is fashionable to say "hey hi"). █
