Legal Attacks on Techrights Have Made Techrights More Popular and More Widely Read
The misogynists will have plenty of work to do this summer
This week we're having new traffic records in Techrights and the most accessed page is the announcement (or press release) from the end of July. This evening my wife and I semi-officially go "on a break" to "touch grass" and spend more time with (or in) nature while mobsters down in London (and their American clients) come to grips with the fact they're being sued a fourth time. We're keeping the details under the wraps for now. This involves three Americans, including one Canadian who commits hate crimes and shouts Nazi slogans. As recently as last night they're still talking to one another (even publicly) and coordinating their lawfare. We support Daniel Pocock's fight against nazis (whose own words reveal them to be ideologically nazi). Go Daniel!
The date and time to lodge (with the High Court) is "by 4pm on 11 September 2026". That is exactly a year after Microsoft's 'secure' boot certificates expired. That's assuming they will resist that, as usual, by defaming me and name-calling me, trying to convince honourable judges to repeat the insults which they themselves (paid to defame people) casually hurl at me, sometimes via burner accounts. In 2024 local law firms warned me that this London-based firm was notorious and rather nasty; this summer another local law firm told me that, based on direct experience with them, they are just "bullies" who simply "bully" (even other lawyers, not just these lawyers' clients).
We need reform in this country in order to better protect reporting. We've got the ear of several ministers at this point and we've also got Legal Aid where it is needed most. █
